First Ballgame

We laughed, we cried (a lot, like every time the crowd cheered), enjoyed a beer, got to spend time with half of the Torrone clan (missed you Malia and Charlie!), got a new hat, spilled nacho cheese on the baby, petted Rhubarb, and left before the sixth inning.  All in all it was a fun day at the ballpark.

I'm so perplexed by Rhubarb.  Why is he a reindeer? Shouldn't he be a baby moose? That would make more sense to me.

The Incredible Hulk

Having a problem with your pajamas being too short? (I can relate because I've had this problem my whole life.) Grandma's got the solution for you.  Just cut off the feet and you'll be good to go.  I apparently need to buy my little hulk some more clothes.

Blame it on the Super Moon

Jordan's favorite thing is when the local news reports that if you get up out of your comfy bed at 3:00am you might be able to see some shooting star, planet, or other wonder in the sky.  Without fail he gets up (tries to make me go with him) and goes out on the deck with the binoculars.  Lucky for me, the prime viewing time for the super moon was pretty early (like before my 8:30pm bedtime. I'm so lame now.)  All weekend Jordan kept blaming things on the super moon.  Like, oh Emmett is refusing to nap...maybe it's because of the super moon.  Too bad we can't always blame our sleep issues on the super moon.  That might make me feel better.

The Park

We're park people now.  I've never really missed having a yard, but lately we've been longing for an outdoor space to hang out in (and to be honest more space in general).  There is some prime people watching going on at some of the local parks in Bremerton. My favorite is the old guy in the picture above, with the metal detector.  Jordan was insanely jealous and stared at that guy all day.

p.s. My Dad said Emmett's hat was girly.  A sun hat with little fish and crabs is totally manly.  Right?

Pooped on in Port Orchard

The sun briefly poked out, so we decided to take the foot ferry over to Port Orchard. It started off as a lovely day. Emmett enjoyed his first ferry ride, we visited the farmers market, had some lunch...and then I got pooped on. I don't have the best luck with seagulls. This is the third time that I've been hit by seagull poop (twice before walking to work in the shipyard). I was standing inches away from Jordan and Emmett and they we're in the clear, but I had poop on my hair, the camera, and on every piece of clothing I was wearing. Lets just say it was a long trip home.

Pre-Poop:

Yes, I actually took a picture of a seagull before the poop incident. Is this the culprit? Did this make him mad and he decided to retaliate against me later? Rude.

Post-Poop:

Jordan instantly took to his phone to update his facebook status and share with everyone that I had been pooped on. In his defense, he did use a baby wipe to help get the poop off my head.

Hey Lady Friend

Getting two babies to smile and look at the camera is tough.  I had a million shots of these two and there wasn't one in the whole bunch that had both of them looking remotely happy or at the camera.  Oh well, I promise a fun time was had by all.  Emmett and I love hanging out with the two S.B.'s and we can't wait for our next play-date! Love you friend.

Hunk of Burning Love

Emmett this is as close as I'm going to get to being able to dress you in cute tights. So, please bear with me.
