The Civilized Gentleman

Since the beginning of time, man has attempted to conquer the physical properties of water to quench one's thirst. At first there was the standard trough guzzling from a stream, but this soon became unsophisticated and likened man to his animal counterparts - but as we know animals are not intelligent and lack opposable thumbs. So hence, man began the cupping of the hands, to gracefully allow water to reach one's mouth. But this too lost poise and etiquette. Eventually, man evolved to the sippy cup. A staple of society for the past 5,000 years, the sippy cup has now been transformed once again. Behold the evolution of the sippy cup - one with handles. So advanced and refined, the sippy cup with handles is so easy a five-month-old can use it:
